A First Church summer tradition is back! Dr. Gardner's summer movie sermon series, “Finding God in a Popcorn and Candy World”, is under way. “So much of popular culture is dialed into movies and music,” said Gardner, “That’s why it is important to look to the box office to find ways to connect popular culture with the Word of God.” This summer he has chosen recent movies that explore life and faith from the perspective of film including, “Blindside”, Letters to God” and “Up”.
