Gina Buster, Dir. Early Childhood Ministries

Ministry Area: As the Director of Early Childhood Ministries, my responsibilities include overseeing the Nursery and Child Care department for the church and managing the Child Development Center and Preschool. Through the ministry of the Early Childhood Department I help to shape the vision and mission of the church. I truly believe that children are a gift from God. They supply us with endless rays of energy, enthusiasm, warmth and hope to keep us going.

Bio: I was born and raised in Wichita. Currently I have an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. My plan is to continue my education in Early Childhood. I began my employment at First Church in 2002 and have worked in all areas of the Early Childhood Ministries. In 2009 I became the Director.

Family: I have been married to Terry for over 26 years. Together Terry and I have six children: Crissy, Robby, Lindsey, Jake, Erin, and Jonathan. They are spread out between Kansas, Missouri, and Texas. At this time we have one grandson; Brayden and hope to have many more. My family is everything to me.

Interest: I love old cars, country music, collecting children’s books and ladybugs, being a Girl Scout, and the Denver Bronco’s.
